Almost all of my favorite bands have Twitter followers numbering in the dozens or hundreds—about five orders of magnitude less than the bands that currently get air time. Almost none of them are associated with any kind of recording company; so I buy their CDs or downloads directly from the bands. I guess that would make all of them underrated.

Bobby Steele was kicked out of the Misfits in 1980 and went on to form his own horror punk band. While never achieving Misfits-like sales, The Undead and Bobby continue to write new songs and rock like no other punk band, young or old.

Here is The Undead at Tompkins Square Park in NYC...Bobby basically invented the downstroke.
