Three lectures took place last week in three different cities in the Netherlands: Nijkerk, Leeuwarden and Woerden. The lectures were delivered by attorney Nati Rom, founder of "Lev Ha'olam" which fights BDS and assists businesses in Judea and Samaria. Hundreds of participants attended the lectures, accompanied by a presentation explaining the situation in Judea and Samaria and the importance of investment in Judea and Samaria. The participants expressed great interest and asked about the products Rom brought with them from Judea and Samaria. The lecture in the city of Woerden took place in a synagogue that survived the Holocaust. After several incarnations, a local family rented the building rights, renovated it and insisted that the municipality preserve the synagogue, which indeed was preserved as a museum for the Jewish community. A special guest came to Rom's lecture: a resident of the city who discovered his Jewishness a few years ago. "I discovered my Jewish roots," the man said. "My parents kept silent about it. My father returned to Holland six years after the war, and since then he has remained silent and has not spoken about his origins." The man said that seven years ago he discovered the names of his parents in the concentration camps. He told this to his mother a few weeks before her death, and she admitted that they were Jews, and that their real family name was Rosenbaum. "I am preparing to immigrate to Israel very soon," the man excitedly concluded his story to Rom. Attorney Rom summed up the journey. "It was encouraging to see the number of interested people who came to the lectures and really wanted to understand and meet the reality in Judea and Samaria and in Israel in general beyond the newspaper headlines...
