Incredible pictures.
But, but, but, dontcha know?
It’s just weather.
Hurricanes are just a big nothingburger.
(Until it’s YOU that’s effected.)
I just can’t understand the callous attitude some people have to the suffering of others.
Hey,
I promised you our propane gas burn rate during the emergency.
At moderate load, we were burning 4.12 gallons/17.31 pounds per hour. We planned for 5 gallons per hour.
But, for our office, a moderate load meant three industrial inverter air conditioners, 30 computers, overhead lights, 2 copiers, several printers, etc. We shut down the fridges, water coolers and had no heat sources like stoves, water heaters, etc. on.
So, for a home, probably 2 - 3 gallons per hour is more realistic.
This was for a 20KW Generac Propane/Natural Gas generator in propane mode.
A neighbor of mine has a 17KW Generac and two 107 gal/450 lb tanks and that could give him 3 days non-stop use.
Hope this helps with your planning.
TY!
