Won't Get Fooled Again
The Who

We'll be fighting in the streets
With our children at our feet
And the morals that they worship will be gone
And the men who spurred us on
Sit in judgment of all wrong
They decide and the shotgun sings the song

I'll tip my hat to the new constitution
Take a bow for the new revolution
Smile and grin at the change all around
Pick up my guitar and play
Just like yesterday
Then I'll get on my knees and pray
We don't get fooled again

The change, it had to come
We knew it all along
We were liberated from the fold, that's all
And the world looks just the same
And history ain't changed
Cause the banners, they are flown in the next war

I'll tip my hat to the new constitution
Take a bow for the new revolution
Smile and grin at the change all around
Pick up my guitar and play
Just like yesterday
Then I'll get on my knees and pray
We don't get fooled again
No, no!

I'll move myself and my family aside
If we happen to be left half alive
I'll get all my papers and smile at the sky
Though I know that the hypnotized never lie
Do ya?

There's nothing in the streets
Looks any different to me
And the slogans are replaced, by-the-bye
And the parting on the left
Are now parting on the right
And the beards have all grown longer overnight

I'll tip my hat to the new constitution
Take a bow for the new revolution
Smile and grin at the change all around
Pick up my guitar and play
Just like yesterday
Then I'll get on my knees and pray
We don't get fooled again
Don't get fooled again
No, no!

Yeah!

Meet the new boss
Same as the old boss

He had a choice to keep his promise to rebuild the military or accept the spending bill.

What part of the White House was involved in this being put together do you not understand?

What part about Trump keeping his promise to rebuild the military don't you understand? This was the only way it was going to happen.

If I had to guess...GOP gets crushed in the midterms is what’s next.

It's not about "winning" a shutdown. It's about doing what's right.

Veto it and it goes back to congress. Either they override his veto or he gets a new budget. But a lot of people forget. The WH was actively involved in this budget. Trump was only playing the part of surprise and disappointment. Unless his minions don't tell him what's in a bill. Heck, VP Pence was out YESTERDAY touting the great bill headed to the White House for signature.

This isn't some deep state move. This was a cooperative effort between the deep state and Trump and his team.

For proof just look at today's Rat Party

Now take a look at today's 'Puke Party: Ryan, McConnell, Rubio, Toomey, Flake, McCain, Cornyn, Cochran ...

Rationalization. I said his signature on this bill would be followed by his fan base rationalizing the reason for signing since yesterday.

Pence was touting this yesterday as a good bill. Trump's military comments were there to placate you and those like you. It worked.

OK...a noticeable percentage of prominent "Republicans" are scum...swamp creatures. And 100% of *all* elected (and appointed) Rats are swamp creatures.

The 2016 election, in my opinion, had two themes:

1) Build the Wall!
2) Lock her up!

For me, 2016 was ALL about Deficit/Budget.

No wall. Hillary is still Free. And this government just agreed to a $1.3 trillion spending program which the Libs apparently like. I will continue to vote for fiscal responsibility, but I can no longer support the Rep. party. They claim to know better every few years, but continue to cave and disappoint...Until their leadership changes, I’m done with them.

Veto is worthless when that much of Congress is lined up against you. They had near veto overriding numbers in both chambers, and probably could have dragged long the extra few.

“Sadly,DJT had no good options open to him..”

Wrong. He could have vetoed it, explained why, then went to war by naming every last republican who voted for it, and announced his support, and announced the mother of all rallies to support the campaigns of every last challenger, and then daily talked about a few of them to get their names in the news cycle. It may have been unprecedented, and an enormous risk, but I think he had nothing to lose because the entire party has demonstrated that they are at war with him since day one. Yes he had a bad choice, sign it and lose, dont sign it and maybe lose a different way, or choose the third way with war, but he may have won that way.

And what is next after that???? Let the impeachment begin and you can bet the republicans will be ducking and hiding, fearful of their own shadow as always.

I also blame the deep state traitorous McConnell turtle and his evil sidekick Ryan. And I blame the voters of their states who sent them back to office in spite of act after act of betrayal and helping the Marxist democrats advance their nightmare agenda.

Just my opinion, but, I think president Trump went to them and explained that there is an urgent need for the military to be strengthened ASAP ,(perhaps for an undisclosed reason i.e. Security briefing or something else), and asked them to negotiate a good deal but instead deep state Ryan and McConnell worked with Pelosi and Schumer to inflict maximum damage on president Trump and try to ruin him and get their power back.

Pelosi even showed them how to push a crappy bill. This was just like the health care bill-thousands of pages and no time for anyone to read it, exc...

McConnell and Ryan deserve all the blame.

It's the Rat Party which is the main culprit

C'mon. It's Paul Ryan. Who knows what the puppet masters must have on him. The only question is why "conservative" Republicans in the HOR gave him another term as Speaker.

I’m a bit disappointed in El Rushbo. Badmouthing Trump for this supposed “failure”. NOBODY bats 1000! Rush’s bigshot buddy George Brett busted his hump to keep an average of .400. How successful was he? I’m sure Trump feels a lot worse about this than we do.
