Ingrid Bergman is married to Charles Boyer and he tries to make her think she’s going crazy. Joseph Cotten of Scotland Yard sneaks into her house while husband is up in attic, and the gaslights flicker and Cotten confirms they did. This restores Ingrid’s sanity.
