I seem to recall it being bragged that he wasn’t going away.
One thought: Obama and the Clintons have never really liked each other going way back ... and this subversive organization had to take a lot of time to establish, likely more than just since election night.
Possibly as long as after Clinton left State ... since one would suppose that she was always going to be the next candidate and therefore POTUS.
So maybe Obama wasn’t planning on letting go of power even if a Democrat was in the White House?
I mean, a subversive doesn’t seem like they would have that extra level of ethics to back off if their successor was once publicly considered an ally.
