So, if Comey goes out and sales of his book start soaring, it sounds like the profits might also be subject to taken away from him, when his criminal misconduct is “proven”?
(Not that I am putting any plans on hold, while we wait for that to happen.)

If just one word of any "leak" is in the book, I think he can be prosecuted and lose all the profits.
It might even be that he stops publication to avoid a civil suit.
Don't these books have to be submitted to the government for scrutiny?

It is a matter of public record that Comey gave his memos to Columbia Law Professor Daniel Richman.
According to item #2:
