If I remember correctly, there actually was a moment not too long ago, in the aftermath of Haiti’s Hurricane, that Chelsea looked like she was growing a spine and standing up to mom and dad.... but alas, she caved.
I think that came out in some of the Clinton Foundation Wikileaks emails.
We can always pray that if any of these kids have a shred of humanity and goodness in them, that it be preserved and protected and expanded according to God’s will.
