Disney-Marvel’s “Avengers: Infinity War” has needed only six hours to break Fandango’s record for best-selling superhero movie in the first 24 hours of presales.

Advance tickets for “Infinity War” went on sale on Fandango at 6 a.m. PDT. By noon PDT, it surpassed the two previous top two record holders: “Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice” and “Black Panther.”

See how this movie handles all these characters at the same time.

Marvel is kicking the s--t out of D.C. Comics. And it's funny. D.C. superheroes are legendary.

There should have been two additional Batman movies (after the Christian Bale reboot).

More Superman movies with Bizarro, Mystzkplik, and Darkseid as the villians instead of the usual Lex Luther.

Wonder Woman is good, and she's going to face Cheetah next. But there is no Aquaman movie, no Firestorm...

But my hat is off to Marvel. They are doing a great job at marketing their movies.

Apparently there are 573 super heroes (unless I miscounted) in this movie. It might seems a little ... busy with superficial characterization.

Nope. Not from what we are seeing.

A group gets beat, then regroups and then really gets the tar beaten out of them movie.

The heartrending death of main characters is expected.

There should have been two additional Batman movies (after the Christian Bale reboot).

Batman, as originally presented in the comics, presents a problem for politically-correct Hollywood.

1) He's a white man.

2) He is a brilliant inventor (in the movies, all his marvelous gadgets get created by others; in the comics, he engineers everything himself)

3) He's a brilliant detective.

4) He's supremely fit.

5) While not being authorized as a government employee, he goes around beating up criminals.

Hollywood has difficulty with a superior man these days. Especially if he's white and hetero.

Thanks. None of the Superman movies (including the Christopher Reeve) went beyond Lex Luthor and the 3 arch-villains. I would love to see Dwayne Johnson play Bizarro Superman for example, and someone play Mr. Mystplik.

D.C. Comics need to step up their game.

In the current story arc of Batman comics, he has proposed to Catwoman. She accepted. They’ve been going on double dates with Superman and Lois Lane (who, in the comics, are married and have an eight year old son).

In the current arc of Marvel comics, everyone is either homosexual, and social justice warrior, or both.

There are no vowels in mxyzptlk (or something like that). And you have to get him to say it backwards.

I don’t know if this is the one or if there are more but “the franchise” is supposed to end sooner than later with deaths of characters.

Of course, they will just reboot and do it differently the next time around.

Explains how they recast roles with younger leads over time.

It’s A Super Super Super Super World?

Cameos and guest appearances every 5 minutes?

In real LIFE. Literally. All the actors are all of the above.
