Whatever we do, don’t put anything military in CA. They’ve gone off the deep end.
The Air Force's Space & Missile Systems Center is in CA...Los Angeles Air Force Base actually. There's a big industrial presence there churning out space stuff as well. Vandenberg is further north - western launch range.
CA is already a big player on the Air Force Space side.
