The GOP can no longer be the party of the Bushes and Romneys - nobody likes those people, including voters in their own party. The problem is dislodging those types from the party leadership - they think it is their right or duty to rule over the rest of us plebes, in much the same way that the progressives have ruled over the Democrat party for the past few decades. Their might be a resurgence of "Blue Dogs" in the Democrat party, but it is doubtful that they will have any meaningful effect on the party's policies as long as the far Left is running the show. And the same goes for the GOP and their RINO problem - it isn't hard to identify the problem, but it is going to be difficult to fix it.

If Lamb wins:

1) He votes with Trump (as a moderate) then he will have no Democrat support in November and will lose

2) He votes with Pelosi (as a socialist) then he will lose in November

Either way, he loses in November.

This election shows that we are right and the voting public wants a more conservative representative. This was like a primary splitting the vote between a moderate Republican and a conservative Republican.

It proves that people Love Trump, but many hate the GOP and will no longer support candidates other than Trump.

The GOP brand is hurting Trump. He’s given them every chance, but too many traitors means the willl never stop being the Uniparty.

Trump should start his own party, in his own image.

I can tell you what it means to me as a PA resident. The state GOP is sick. Infiltrated with RINO saboteurs who run RINO candidates that ALWAYS get trounced. It’s time good, honest conservatives run for state committee and clean house.

I like your thinking.

And the "lamb" is a terrific metaphor.

I too, have said some months back that the Democrat party was dead, but I did NOT see it re-shaping itself.

Odumbo came out after the 200 Democrat convention and by golly sounded like a Republican and I turned to my kids and said, "THIS guy is dangerous"

Little could I realize at the time they had already polished off his presidential chair and desk.

So now a right leaning democrat Lamb is on the scene ?

THIS party is now MORE dangerous.

I THINK what FOX meant was that Lamb was intentionally advertised and run as a conservative democrat, just like odumbo following the 2000 dem convention.

He had already planted a conservative seed and the college kids ate it up.

I pray you are correct. Sadly, we see a growth of the radical Left that is threatening to overrun the no-backbone, GOP (aka -the party of stupid).

Lamb hasn’t won yet though your analysis is correct in my opinion.

Let’s hope he’s as much a “Blue Dog Democrat” as he campaigned as - else, it’s business as usual - say what it takes to get elected then screw those who elected you.....Trump’s the first “politician” since Reagan to actually try to do what he campaigned on.

That voters in Western PA are POPULISTS and not really REPUBLICANS. They’d vote Democrat every time if that party were not so extreme-left on social issues.

That being part of the PA Legislature is a resume killer. That it cements in people’s minds that you are totally untrustworthy. Even more untrustworthy than your predecessor who lied about being Pro Life for 19 years.

That the Catholic Church is more supportive of Socialism than human life. Were it not so they would have called Lamb out over his preposterous “personally opposed” stance.

For the life of me, I don’t understand how people can fall for this junk! The victor will vote party line, hands down. He will be reminded quickly as to his place in the party, and it will be made known that if he does not toe the line, there will be consequences.
This isn’t rocket science, but people are foolish.

“The Democrat Party cannot and will not survive as a party of the far-left, progressive, socialist, anti-American Republic political party...the political party of Illegals, Gays, Trans Genders, etc. In a nation made of 320,000,000 people, who simply wish to live their lives in freedom and choice, limiting yourselves as political party with a very small base is no way to go through “major” political life.”

Name one arena in the culture outside of gun rights where they are not winning. Government is bigger (though I cheer Trump’s agenda of deregulation, it is far too little, far too late), societal fabric is more coarse and vulgar than ever, and virtue is almost nowhere to be found. For Marxist nihilists the Democrat Party is merely a vehicle for their malevolence. Its existence is irrelevant as long as they control every institution that inculcates values.
