In 1962, the government of these United States joined the governments of Canada, Europe and South America and evicted the Lord God Creator of the Universe, Christ Jesus, from the body politic and the public school system. That void was immediately replaced by satan. Abortion became legal, the destruction of the marriage via no fault divorces became the law of the land, adultery, homosexuality, and promiscuous behavior became accepted norms. Fathers were degraded and prohibited by law from punishing their children with a strap, switch or even their own hands. Pornography not only reached new highs of acceptance, being considered free and protected speech by the US Supreme Court, colleges and universities across the country picked up the mantle of pornography and stated offering courses.
We became the nation known for our number one status in importing illegal drugs and exporting US Tax payer funded abortion and pornography. We totally evicted the teaching of the creation of the world by God out of the education field and embraced the cock and bull stories fabricated by the Christ hating satan serving supporters of the ridiculous fable called evolution.
And Almighty God, the One and Only True and Just God made up of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit, watched. He watched and gently warned us to return to Him. We ignored Him. That warning became more of a slap on the wrist than a verbal warning over time, and over the last years that mild slap on the wrist has resulted in devastating floods, fires, and hurricanes. And judging from the news, talk radio, and the internet, we have still not learned our lesson. We have still not turned from evil and back to the God of our fathers, the Trinity. And what we are seeing is still only a mild little tap on the wrist, not even a slap really, just a little tap. For compared to when God really metes out punishment, this last hurricane, which is being reported as one of the worst natural disaster in US history, is nothing but a little tap on the wrist.
I have a sneaking feeling that this winter, with home heating fuel cost way up and gas and diesel fuels setting unheard of records, this may change. I think that some of you may actually turn back to God, wondering what to do to stop what is becoming more and more obvious as the hand of the Father correcting a very errant child. Does not Jesus say:
And He said also to the people, When ye see a cloud rise out of the west, straightway ye say, There cometh a shower; and so it is. And when ye see the south wind blow, ye say, There will be heat; and it cometh to pass. Ye hypocrites, ye can discern the face of the sky and of the earth; but how is it that ye do not discern this time?
Why do I think it is going to be this winter? Well, five years ago a home that used 1000 gallons of heating oil with the breadwinner using twenty gallons of gas to commute back and forth from home to work, paid around $750 to heat his home and just about $25 a week for gas. This winter that same family is looking at paying over $2500 for heating oil and $80 a week in gas cost. This could, and looks like it may be, a very hard cold winter for the heathen north and northeast. But also look at the behavior of God's own people. Forget the heathens for a moment, just focus on those who call themselves Christians. Has their clothing become more modest? Have they gotten rid of cable tv and used that money to further the word of God? Have they yanked their kids out of the Christ denying satan worshiping public school system and started to homeschool or put them in Christian Schools? Are they going to Bible studies? Are they going to Wednesday night prayer services in record numbers? Have they even increased their tithing?
The answer to every last question above is a resounding NO!!!
So, what does those who are true Born Again Washed in the Blood of the Lamb Christians do to reverse this? What do those who are True Born Again Washed in the Blood of the Lamb Christians do to convince God that we have heard Him? In God's own words: If My people, which are called by My name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land. (2 Chronicles 7:14 ACP/KJV)
Who is called by God's name? Well, before Jesus it was the Jews, but since Jesus it is us who are called by His name, CHRISTians. True, Born again, Washed in the Blood of the Lamb CHRISTians.
So what do we do? First let's get back to basics, let's get back to reading the Bible as if God actually knew what He was talking about and said exactly what He wanted to say and said it exactly as He meant it. Let's stop listening to preachers and others who think they are smarter than God, those who think they can second guess God and tell us what He meant to say. Let's go to God and read what He says for us to do when we want Him to stop the punishment, the punishment that is rightfully delivered to an errant and disobedient and down right disrespectful child. Us.
First it is important to understand that when Jesus came to earth, He did not make the Old Testament null and void. No, what He did was fulfill every last prophecy that had anything to do with proving that He was and is the Messiah. And He, who we call ourselves after, said: Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil. For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled. (Matthew 5:17&18 ACP/KJV)
So get this straight, every thing in what we call the Old Testament, other than those things that proved that Jesus was and is the Messiah, is in full effect today, tomorrow and at least for the next 1,0007 years, for not all of Prophecy is fulfilled till the end of the 1,000 year reign of Christ after the 7 years of Tribulation, which starts, not when satan chooses, but when Jesus calls us home, the rapture. Got it? So, what do we do to apologize to the Lord? What do we do to get Him to stop His hand in mid air before it strikes us again?
Start with Malachi:
Will a man rob God?
Yet ye have robbed Me. But ye say, 'Wherein have we robbed Thee?'
In tithes and offerings. Ye are cursed with a curse: for ye have robbed Me, even this whole nation.
Bring ye all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be meat in Mine house, and prove Me now herewith, saith the LORD of hosts, if I will not open you the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that there shall not be room enough to receive it.
And I will rebuke the devourer for your sakes, and he shall not destroy the fruits of your ground; neither shall your vine cast her fruit before the time in the field, saith the LORD of hosts. And all nations shall call you blessed: for ye shall be a delightsome land, saith the LORD of hosts. (Malachi 3:8-12 ACP/KJV)
Understand?
This is what Christians, true Born Again Washed in the Blood of the Lamb Christians must do to start with: First, we must humble ourselves before God. How do we do that? Well, we start by offering to trust Him by tithing. How do you tithe? Well, look at the word storehouse. Back when the Lord spoke these words thru the pen and mouth of the Prophet Malachi, it was the temple and the synagogues. Today it is the church, the building where you attend Sunday morning services, Sunday night services, Bible study, and Wednesday night services.
You say, "But I will send it to the Red Cross." I say, why not just bring it down to your local abortion mill and leave it on their door step? You would be tithing to the same god. One of the key roles of the churches is to be a conduit for money to missions, missionaries, disaster relief and all kinds of work to further the work and word of God.
How is it that we Christians in the USA have gotten so far off track and so far away from the Lord God of Creation, Christ Jesus? That my brothers, sisters and visitors, is rather simple. We have gotten way from attending and being active members in good solid fundamental preaching evangelical churches. And don't you dare disagree with me. For Jesus is not blind. He sees how many come to Sunday Night services, how many show up for Bible study, how many attend Wednesday night prayer services. Who do you think you are cheating? Whose face do you think you are spitting in?
Hear me well. We, the true Born Again Washed in the Blood of the Lamb Christian community here in the US hold the key to the future. If we do as He tells us to, His hand will be stayed, if we continue to laugh in His face, spit in His face, and out and out lie to Him, get ready for a very bad time ahead. While we will not see another earth destroying flood, For God Himself has told us He will not again destroy the earth by flood, there is a whole lot of leeway between punishment and destruction.
Want peace, turn back to Jesus and make Jesus the star of your life, the light of your life, the reason for your living.
Want more hurricanes, earthquakes, forest fires, floods, pestilence, etc? Continue just the way you are going. Wander into church Sunday morning, put in a little loose change, watch the Sunday night movie instead of going to Sunday night services, read a "good book" instead of reading and studying The Good Book, put the Wednesday night football game or public meeting ahead of going to church and being part of the Prayer service. Yup just keep on keeping on. Read the new Stephen King horror book, maybe you'll get an idea of what lays ahead of us all if you do.
I wonder how many of you feel safe from Old Testament judgements and punishments because there is no more Babylon or Assyria. But there is a very real China, Russia, and muslim horde.
Lord God Creator of all the Universe, I thank you for loving us enough to punish us, for a Father only spanks the son whom He loves. Amen.

Our daughter was in a private Christian school from K-2, then we decided to homeschool her. We made it all the way - it was extremely challenging at times, but we’re glad things worked out the way they did.
