First, take this alegbraic equality:
a + b = c
Then, subsitute "4a - 3a" for "a", and "4b - 3b" for "b":
4a - 3a + 4b - 3b = 4c - 3c
Then move "-3a" on the left to "+3a" on the right, and
move "4c" on the right to "-4c" on the left:
4a + 4b - 4c = 3a + 3b - 3c
Then use the distributive property to isolate common factors on each side:
4(a + b - c) = 3(a + b - c)
4 = 3
I think the answer comes to 0 = 0.
Thank you. It gets wearying that so many worship mindlessly at a purported pristine lock solid level of laboratory quality “PROOF.”
I always enjoyed .9999... to infinity is =1
1/3+2/3=1
1/3=.333... to infinity
2/3=.666... to infinity
added together
1/3+2/3=1 = .333...+.666...=.999...
3 guys rent a hotel room for an all nite poker game.
Room is 30 bucks and each guy kicks in 10 bucks.
Later in the evening, clerk realizes he gave them a 25 room and gives the bellhop 5 bucks to be returned to the 3 guys.
Bell-hop keeps two bucks and returns 3 bucks. Instead of 10 bucks, each guy as now paid 9 bucks, which is 27 bucks. Bell-hop kept 2 which is 29 bucks total. Where’d the 30th dollar go ?
