Yep. People are nowhere near ready to have any part of their understanding of Nazi Germany adjusted, even in a way that helps MAGA by taking away a big crutch of the deep state.

I think most educated Americans of all political persuasions have Nazi Germany pegged pretty damn accurately, and I'm at a loss to see where much "adjustment" would be needed...
I don’t know that there is a way forward without it though.
