Still do. But they have a pretty good engineering college. Best in the state. Even better than Mines and half the price.

BTW, my dad and uncles graduated from DU. In the 1940s and 1950s. We are a Colorado family all the way back to the 1800s.

That’s neat. My family is also a Colorado pioneer family. My great grandparents settled in Salida in 1858 and my grandfather graduated from CU in 1903.

It was rare to have met a native Coloradan. Saturday mornings, my roommate and I used to strap on Browning HiPowers and Ruger Blackhawks, stop by the local diner on the way to the range, and chat with the local cops about their issued Smith and Wesson wheel guns. CO was a great state back then before Hickenpoofer and the rest polluted CO politics.
