Nice.
This is in the UK. Lord knows how they operate over there, but it’s not good. And I doubt they can sue, and if they can it won’t be the payday it is in the US.
cock, anyway
I’m a little confused, too. She knew she didn’t have a car, and presumably she knew how long it would take the reach the clinic, so why did she make an appointment earlier than she could get there?
That said, I assume they saw the next patient in line earlier, rather than spending the time sitting on their thumbs, so they should have had time for the young girl.
She called to make an appointment, they said be here in fifteen minutes and she said I might not be able to get there that fast.
Yes, so sad but, the parent is responsible for this whole incident.
“why not go the the Emergency Room to begin with?”
Was listening to SiruisXM doctor radio a few years ago. They were discussing health care in the U.K. They said you can wait up 2 weeks to be seen in their E.R.s!
If my kid’s having an asthma attack, I would be in the E.R. making tons of noise. A least if her daughter started to do poorly she would be located at a place they could handle it immediately.
Hubby goes to a doctor that belongs to a group that you pay extra for. Not as many patients. He books an hour for each patient so usually theres only 1 patient in the office at a time. Anyway, a couple of months ago hubby was in the room with the doc when the gal came rushing in to tell doc he had an emergency patient. An old man and his wife had shown up after he fell off a ladder.......and ripped his arms to shreds. They wanted to know what to do. Doc said GET TO THE ER! Lol
People really are not very bright.
She didn't have a car. I didn't see how far it is but she may have had to carry the little girl at least part of the way.
