A man who witnessed a stabbing in Oswego Township grabbed an AR-15-style rifle from his house and stopped the attack without firing shots Monday, according to the Kendall County sheriff's office.

The evil gun must have jumped from his hands and proceeded to shoot everyone in sight.
The delay in reporting is b/c the Sheriffs haven’t moved in yet.
This is when an “assault rifle” becomes a “defensive rifle” because, ya know, we have to demonize the AR-15 and the left’s collective heads explode.
It’s refreshing to see the term “style” versus the overused “platform”. Ever heard of a bolt action platform, lever action platform and etc. “Platform be gone! OT apologies.
How about the term pattern? As in an AR/AK/M1a pattern rifle.
I’ve heard that term too.
Some judiciously applied shots would prevent future knife attacks by the perp.
All rifles and pistols are the same. They have a barrel that a bullet comes out of. Just because of what is wrapped around the barrel that makes it scary looking to liberals / socialists. It is scary to them because guns stop the liberals / socialists from lining you up in a field and killing you... with guns.
