Switzerland’s tough stance on migrants criticized by Amnesty International

Switzerland has been taken to task by the human rights group Amnesty International for its tough treatment of asylum seekers and migrants.

The country was violating international legal principles by returning migrants and asylum seekers with rejected asylum claims to countries where they are in danger of persecution, Amnesty said in its annual report published on Thursday.

The human rights group cited the examples “of people with failed asylum claims or undocumented migrants” being sent back to countries including Sri Lanka, Turkey and Sudan where they were at risk of “serious human rights” violations.

In its report into the state of human rights in 159 countries around the world, Amnesty also said concerns remained “regarding the use of disproportionate force during the deportation of migrants” while several asylum seekers had been returned to other Schengen countries under the Dublin regulation “without duly taking into account their family ties in Switzerland”.

According to EU rules enshrined in the Dublin Convention, their applications for asylum should therefore be processed in the first EU country in which they arrive.

Amnesty International also expressed concerns over a highly-controversial initiative put forward for referendum by the right-wing Swiss People’s Party, which calls for Swiss law to be given primacy over international law and would see Switzerland renegotiating or even renouncing international treaties, including those on human rights, if necessary. …

Does Amnesty International’s leadership put up Mohammadan immigrants in their homes, and if they don’t, why are they racists ?

Europeans exploited the rich African resources and the people during the Scramble for Africa in the late 1800s rather than teaching these people how to fish.

That's what they should have done. Teach these people basic things like sanitation, rule of law, and freedom, rather than giving them aid constantly which does nothing but fund the tin-pot armies and keep the people poor.

And if the Africans would have rejected the help, then screw them and their resources. Let them stew in their own feces then.

The back story here is that last year a major Swiss publication revealed that many, perhaps a majority, of the migrants granted asylum for political reasons and who were receiving substantial monetary aid from the Swiss government ACTUALLY VACATIONED in the very “dangerous” countries from which they had earlier “fled.”

Something about that did not set well with the conservative Swiss citizen. Imagine that! Amnesty International has long been a fraud and a far leftwing globalist front organization.

Anyone who supports the third world invasion of Europe is a cheerleader for rape, i.e. a pervert.

Thus insuring that Switzerland will be a great vacation destination, a thousand years into the future.

The rest of the western world takes migrants. Why does little Switzerland have to?

I know, I know, it’s a globalist takeover. I’m just pointing out the absurdity of of their logic.

Some African countries were well on the way to becoming developed nations when the leftists prevailed on the colonialists to abandon them.

Most have gone regressed back to tribalism, and are in worse shape than they were under colonialism.

They mostly did not give them free aid. That is what happened after the colonial period.

Don’t forget that the Africans themselves were exploiting each other for all they could get.

Nearly all African slaves were enslaved by other Africans before they were sold elsewhere.

If I’m not mistaken, Switzerland also requires every household have a gun and as a result, they have one of the lowest crime rates of any country.

Anyone who has visited a major Swiss city recently will know that, unfortunately, the Amnesty International definition of “tough treatment” is anything but, even in Switzerland.

Destructive immigration can screw your county as much as gun control.

Every household in Swtizerland has an automatic on the shelf. Mandatory military service and they keep the gun.

Good option for Trump to explore in response to FL.

If Amnesty International doesn’t like your immigration policy, it is probably a good policy.

Actually, the Europeans tried to do just that.
But in the end, Africa always wins.
