When adjusted for inflation, Black Panther finishes behind Force Awakens, Jurassic World and The Avengers.
Hollyweird folks complain about guns but yet this movie had 163 shootings.
Okay.
It’s getting a lot of help:

Have not seen it and don’t plan to see it.
But the Black Panther is a much better role model
than Jesse High Jackson or Al Sharpton.
I wonder how many ticket sales were in fact “phantom” ticket sales?

Tix sales up? No sh!te, everyone was talking so much in the theater, it took multiple viewing for everyone to get the whole movie

They each were praising the remarkably conservative themes of Black Panther. How Wakanda is a nation of people who support themselves, maintain their borders, and are at heart capitalists. And the bad guys were almost blatantly Black Lives Matter.
I am intrigued, to put it mildly.
The entire point of the film is to make Africans look intelligent. I just observe their cities and countries. I don’t need a movie to show otherwise.
Ummm, Last Jedi was not all that......
The ONLY reason Last Jedi did as well as it did was because of the Star Wars fan base.

I was listening to kabc radio this morning and they had a movie reviewer on and he and the host were talking about the movie for about 20 mins. They talked about diversity and raising the hopes of black people everywhere and never got around to saying what the movie was about.....
