I finally saw a clip this morning, and you are 100% right. The two kids speaking were clearly working off a set of talking points. What these two guys said was not ‘from the heart’. It was cheap talking points. The second was struggling to remember his ‘words’. They were not his own. This is sad and pathetic.
It’s sickening. Imagine how many others are being told what to say (Kimmel for example).
The one young lady had the crowd chanting with her “I call bs”. I think that will become their new motto.
