Yep. Lots of vehicles these days have module reset procedures.
Some easy, some really weird.
Some need special scan tools and software, some just a wacky procedure.

When I had my shop and web site, I coined a phrase Demon Possession for air suspension modules of Lincoln MK VII's.

The symptom was that Linda Blair was in control while the vehicle was parked. Came up with a low tech way for owners to verify the module was bad.

In the same MK VII system, Ford placed a self check procedure that I called Stupid Pet Tricks...told the person nothing.

Kicker; we worked on engineers' MK VII's the Dearborne plant parking lot.

I kicked their a** on the KISS principle.
