The Russia investigation was a Counter Intelligence operation, not a criminal investigation.

The ONLY thing that gives me any hope at all, is my trust in Trump as an outsider and game changer.
I can’t picture any situation in which Trump would sit back and allow his AG to be a screwup. He’d fire him. He’d fire him and then deal with the political fallout by fighting back. So a small part of me wants to think Sessions is doing what Trump wants, or he’d be gone.
On a personal note, I’m terribly disappointed in Sessions. I honestly didn’t think he’d be a folder.

A very huge difference. Especially in the realm of the Special Prosecutor. If it was a criminal investigation, they’d have to have a law that was violated. As RR’s letter announcing Muellers charter states no such law violation, it’s classified as a counter intelligence, which gives Mueller FAR greater latitude in his ‘investigation’.
Until someone gets frog marched the media lies still rule the day.
While Obama was still in office, being an intelligence operation, it gave the White House complete control of the investigation
