Claiming to be defending FR against crazies is absurd. That makes them out to be smarter than all the brilliant folks on the Q-threads combined. Like I said--ego, ego, ego to the max.
They don't seem to ever learn. Likely refuse to learn. Are convinced they are 100% right about everything in every context. Facts don't seem to phase them.
Trouble is--any response--particularly annoyed responses--just feed their egotism like a transfusion of energy and motivation. I'm doing better at totally ignoring them but not quite 100%, obviously.
They do because they don’t want to be embarrassed later when it’s found to be a hoax. It’s embarrassing being a member of a forum that believes crazy stuff. It’s safer to get in record now saying this is crazy vice waiting until later because then people will say... Why didn’t you call it crazy before.
