Wow I missed that for sure, I need a good hi-res copy of the presidential portrait... wonder if it is same thing as the inscription in his ring I heard about years ago?

This portrait is offensive because it looks like any number of "dear leader" portraits from various communist dictatorships over the past century, but it's actually not that amateurish and there's something going on with it beyond the obvious, which is surprising because the artist seems like an affirmative action idiot. That background is like those old 3D "magic eye" things from the 90's. There's a shape above Obama's head in all that greenery that is not random, it's bilateral. I can almost get it to pop into focus but not quite.
