That announcer is a former ice skater, who I hated -- on and off the ice. He is one, if not the main, reason I don't really watch ice skating as much as I used to. I don't think "gay" male figure skaters are anything new; but, they are now so obvious about it that I just can't watch them skate, let alone listen to this jerk do the announcing.
Yes, Hubby, daughter and I watched the entire event. Couldn't believe we were watching snowboarding --- and, we were enjoying it.
Probably true but as far as the athletes are concerned it’s just a bunch of kids trying to do well in their craft. The media is what’s turning it into a lefty circus.
