I will be in DC the first full week of March, advocating for my veterans group, Paralyzed Veterans of America.
I go to both sides of Congress and typically look at the nameplates on the doorways as we go around.
This year I am making it a personal mission to seek out the office of Congressman Devin Nunes so I can try to thank him.
I do hope he listens, he is a very passionate young man and seems to have good intel, he’s just pretty annoying for some of us oldsters to deal with.
And hopefully is was and continues to be in good company.

Yes, the bad actors all covered for one another. The extent would never have been known had Hillary become President.
Well in my opinion the election showed that “the media”, i.e. NYT, WaPo, CNN, etc., is talking to +-30% of the population. The right-leaning media including YouTube and the blogsphere, etc., is probably talking to another +-30%. Then there’s an almost equally large group in the middle that doesn’t really hear about anything that doesn’t involve Kim Kardashian.
So, we don’t really need to worry about “the media” very much, they’re in their eco-chamber, but they don’t influence very much outside of it. As long as we’re united and enthusiastic, and we can every now and then get something across to the Kardashian viewers, then we’re doing pretty well.
But the point being, it would take a lot to generate the kind of mass hysteria implied by the OP.

Curious how within the past 36 hours the stories arose of Mrs. Trump giving the White House a thorough spiritual disinfecting. This may be an allegory with respect to our nation as a whole. Be vigilant, stay awake, and keep your powder dry. There are many more exorcisms that need to happen.

Trolls are often not real persons. They are programs coded as Artifical Intelligence or AI, specifically Strong AI.
Like Alexa, they can appear so real. Firms like CrowdStrike can launch a thousand AI Bots or AI Trolls on a forum, a feed, a chat blog and TOTALLY DISRUPT COMMUNICATION.
There is a way to defeat them. It takes commitment and study. Search out Quinn Michaels who is one of top experts on AI Bots. He’s one of the good guys. He never takes money.
It pays to know about this because it is a part of the war.

When the truth comes out about selling our military technology to be used against US and how many people have DIED as a result of their actions, then there should be no problem with charging with treason and execution.

Have heard the worst thing you can do to someone is ignore them so I have no trouble ignoring them.
Different context.
You as a single individual can ignore them. But when they descend on websites such as FR, you cannot communicate because all the posting is taken over and normal posters get overwhelmed. That is the disruption they aim to achieve. I have witnessed it here and elsewhere.
They can be defeated by asking questions that mess up their programming and also expose their artificiality so they can be zotted.
