Well, I watched a Canadian TV investigation on it. The guy’s father died when he was quite young. His uncle brought him into the business. When the uncle died, he was able to take over and run the business.

He became rich, and he also was always suing someone and had a lot of enemies. His cousins were very poor, but he didn’t help them. Later he loaned them some money to start their own businesses.

Turns out that he was supposed to share 5% or let them buy that amount for each of the cousins, which he didn’t do. Down the road, he expanded and changed the name of the company. Cousins took him to court. He won because the company was no longer the original one.

One of the cousins interviewed was really weird, and appeared to really hate his cousin. So it could be just a case of unpleasant guy having enemies and one finally took him out. Or something different - case has not really been solved.

It probably wont be solved. The rumour is that it was tying up a loose end.
