Kenny told Brockton District Court Judge Paula J. Clifford today the bodies of Edson “Marlon” Brito, 8, and Lason Brito, 5, were found in beds in separate rooms in the family’s third-floor apartment on Prospect Street yesterday after their mother asked a neighbor to call her an ambulance for herself and the neighbor informed police there were children in the home who would need to be cared for.

Lason was under a blanket, his neck bandaged and face slashed, court documents state.

Jeff Kuhner 680am WRKO Boston was all over this story this afternoon. His take is where is MASS Dept of Family Services on this? He said flat out they are covering up. How did they not know of this womens lack of mental health and not being proactive. MASS DFS has a history of this stuff, remember the little girl who’s body they found on what was it Deer Island? They screwed up their too. Yet recently they went after an Andover Hockey team for not giving the team Drinks and P & B sandwiches because the coach was pissed they lost.
