Since Disney has taken ownership of Lucasfilm, the studio hasnt used the Super Bowl as a launch pad for Star Wars movies. Until today. Taking everyone by surprise without any forewarning, Disney dropped a teaser for its Memorial Day opener spinoff Solo: A Star Wars Story directed by Ron Howard. Consider this a tease to the teaser trailer which officially blasts off tomorrow during Good Morning America. There was an assumption among fanboys that Disney would drop this during the Winter Olympics, but here it is, the first 38 seconds of Solo.

How queer, last week there was an article saying that Disney would NOT be airing a Solo ad during the Superbowel...
Seems to me that was forewarning enough.
But, “Star Wars”.
Had to kill him to make him greater
Why don’t they just make a series of Lando Calrissian movies instead?
The actor seems to have negative charisma.
Vanity Fairies would be all over that

Lando Calrissian Steals the Hero Shot in First Star Wars: Solo Footage
The could have done a Han and Lando movie. I heard they go way back. :)
Apparently they did make this film such a beast.
Here's a first glimpse from the set:
He IS better dead. It was a supporting character that, somehow, got all the glory. Disney is trying to milk it. No more than an intergalactic UBER driver who never went home, but horned in on the lives of his customers,Solo was so cliché it was laughable. And-in the end- he is the cause for the evil in Disney’s version of SW by fathering a homely, psycho kid. Mixing power hungry Sithlord genetics with those of a common criminal is NEVER a good idea. Neither is the continued marketing of a superfluous character.
Too many Star Wars movies!
Barry and Armando?
Solo was much more interesting than the ever-repeating space opera drama about a kid who grows up to become dictator who has a kid who grows up to be savior who has a kid who grows up to be dictator...
At least there are different tales to tell about a space pirate. Think “Caribbean” in space.
People always like the good "bad guy" character in movies.
Solo was the best thing about Star Wars.
I want you to write my obituary when I die.
Without any warning? I knew about it three days ago.
>>Disney’s target audience is 12 year old Girls ?<<
AKA full-grown liberal (born) males.
