not really, but for the sake of argument I will stipulate that in broad daylight on a weekday afternoon, perhaps a white can mosey along without encountering some sort of harassment...however, I specifically mentioned weekend nights, when inhibitions are known to be somewhat relaxed...

however, the point is this; is it your contention that there is no correlation between personal safety and being in a high crime area as opposed to a low crime one...?

My daughters go out jogging, walking, chasing pokemon, etc in our Black neighborhood day and night ... and have done so in adjacent Black neighborhoods. No problem.

On New Year’s eve I hear a lot of gun fire. So I know a lot of Blacks in this area have guns... and I see them practice both open carry and conceal carry ... mostly those with a military hair cut and military walk. That is the only time I ever hear gun fire here.

Now, compare that to Atlanta’s white upscale Buckhead where there are recent car thefts, rapes and murders going back many years. Remember Ray Lewis being accused of murder in Buckhead during the Atlanta Superbowl? That was a non-typical Black in a white area.

There is a difference between “high crime” and “targeting whites”. When I came back from Vietnam to Chicago’s inner city there were 7 separate murders in 1968 just on my block alone. It was “high crime”.

All 7 murders were committed by the same street gang, the Lazy Gents, which was identified as a white gang although it had Puerto Rican anti-Latin King members. Two red haired white guys, one Southern white, one Italian white, committed those murders. I was safer walking past the Black Panther headquarters a couple blocks south of me, just across the tracks, than walking on my own block.

In Atlanta, Abernathy and Lee St SW, by the strip club/bar is considered the highest crime area in the city, mostly because drunks often fight there. I have walked past it many times. None of the many Blacks hanging out on the street game me the slightest interest, except for the doormen trying to get me to enter the strip club and spend my money. At the mall across the street they want me to buy stuff. But nothing beyond that.
