Irony drips havy and thick - Rosenstein overseeing Mueller's Investigation
Vanity ^ | 2/2/2018 | T4B

Posted on 02/02/2018 10:10:40 AM PST by Tennessean4Bush

So Sessions recuses himself for having an innocuous and indirect contact with a Russian. But Rosenstein is hired to be his number two and oversee Mueller based on a FISA application that he signed knowing it was BS and was the basis for Trump-Russia collusion nonsense Mueller was investigating.

Rosenstein should be sent to jail for a long, long, time.

Now we know why the sentencing of Flynn was ‘postponed’..............With the publication of this memo, the defense has very good grounds for dismissal of all charges...................

I am just amazed an unknown bureaucrat (Rod Rosenstein, Deputy AG) can, of his own will, pick anyone he wants, to conduct a private investigation and media campaign against a President. No oversight, no input, no public record or reports necessary.

Its a wide, gaping hole in the Constitution, and devious leftists have found it

This is the outcome I want to see. Firing Mueller and/or Sessions is still too radioactive, but after the memo Rosenstein should go. Strike while the iron’s hot; keep the momentum going.

Didn’t we “reset” with the Russians?
All thought it was all good.

Rosenstein is the US Attorney who kept the Russian bribery/kickback investigations under wraps until after the Uranium One deal was approved.

He should have never been nominated for Deputy AG

Rosenstein will not be fired.

Since his name appears on FISA warrant documents that were submitted to a FISA court with information that was known by the investigating authorities to be false or incomplete, the following will likely happen (in rapid succession, if not simultaneously):

1. He will have to recuse himself from his oversight of the special counsel he appointed.

2. Since the Deputy AG has direct oversight of the FBI and there are now current and former FBI agents who are potential targets of a criminal investigation, he will have to step down from his post as the Deputy U.S. Attorney General.

Trump appointed him thus giving him that power.

Agreed. The memo gives them ample cover to do this. I'm just surprised Trump did not ask for Rosenstein's resignation when he visited him about the memo at the White House a couple of days ago.

Rosenburg needs to be immediately disbarred for fraud on the court. Rush is not hitting on the biggest issue. The money quote in the memo is that people submitting the application to the FISA Judge are ethically required to also submit the facts favorable to the proposed target.

Unless Rosentein’s been acting as an informant and agent of the Trump Administration his career in law is over.

He has such serious conflicts of interest he never should have accepted or been placed in the job position he is in.

Rosenstein should have recused himself at the very start

If Trump is good at anything, he’s good at timing. Right now the memo is rolling like a tsunami over DC and even the MSM. There’s probably not a Leftist in the country who wouldn’t love to change the subject. Maybe—just a guess—the memo needs uninterrupted time in the spotlight to really sink in, prior to being pushed aside by the next Big Development.
