Formula 1 will no longer have women on the grid holding signs in front of where cars are parked on the track before races.
The longstanding tradition was derided as sexist by many, especially in auto racing, the only major type of sport where women compete directly with men.

So far as I know, they haven’t banned them, but it’s rare to see them on TV for more than a few seconds during the game.

No grid girls. Drivers encouraging their nephews to dress like girls. Many races in countries that hate the United States. I missed not having satellite last year for three things. 1) Formula 1. 2) Tour de France and 3) Boise State Football. Now I shall only miss two things this year.
Un-Fn-believable. I’m sure there’s shenanigans behind the scenes and that’s what this is about, but these girls are generally modestly dressed in cultural outfits. Often it’s the only cultural reference.
I'm referring, of course, to porn. When porn was either illegal, or highly restricted, then popular mass culture acceded to the overwhelming desires of men.
Once the monolithic media channels were shattered, then mainstream products could virtue signal to their heart's content. That's ok, because there's not a guy alive who doesn't shrug and go right to the source of what they really want.
