Sorry you're not well. Yes, of course, there are anomalies in families. And stress definitely plays a factor in disease.

Don’t work at Walmart. You’ll be chasing down thieves and greeting the nasty Third World all day long.

I don't know its all in how you look at it. I like to think I would say a little prayer of Thanksgiving: "Thank You LORD for without your grace there go I."

I tend to think that you live longer if you have someplace you need to be regularly, even if it is a part-time, small paying job or volunteer work.

Heart disease runs in my family. Dad died at 63. His brother lasted 82 years by taking 30 vitamin pills daily. I couldn’t stand the taste. Some say marriage is good for a long life. I’d rather die.

Do you mean to feel glad I’m not a greeter or a thief? Color me confused.

Perhaps they are less likely to die in a work accident or while commuting.

“Sorry you’re not well.”

Oh, thank you... but I am WELL now, so far. Hooray! VERY small cancer in 2014 detected early, thanks to modern mammography technology. Mastectomy, but no chemo or radiation. Praying it doesn’t rear its ugly head again, but there aren’t guarantees. Got to be around to vote for Trump in 2020, and then Pence. :)

That you wasn’t born a thief, or in a third-world country or both.

Americans in general really do not have any idea how blessed they are being born here.

Years ago I had to go down to El Paso and was staying downtown not far from the border and was thing I might stroll across after dinner just to say I done it.

After taking care of some business I was driving along the border at one point you could look right in to Juárez and that was all I needed to see, After diner I stay at the hotel and had a swim.

God truly has blessed America and far to many Americans are not grateful for that blessing at all.

Have something to do after you retire that you enjoy.
A reason to wake up for in the morning.

I agree, I’m 61 and never get flu or colds. My parents are both well, all grandparents lived between 90 and 104.

I don’t get flu or colds any more - I retired and noticed that these infectious illnesses stopped completely.

Then you might enjoy this. I did, and I’m ready, but not anxious, to go.

God will have to work a miracle, but it’s something to shoot for. :)

“Farewell world, I’m going home!”

Amen

oh, and “I don’t care to stay here long!”

Congratulations - I’m actually snickering on that one. Nicely done. (Consider the concept stolen...)
