I know.
It's the metaphor of the frog in the slowly boiling water. It's the nature of government incrementalism. Each little win (unconstitutional abuse) that they get away with emboldens them to reach a little further the next time. The MSM labels each occurrence as a lone-wolf, stand-alone, or isolated incident, when in fact its part of a long-lead strategy of encroachment. Republicans are like abused wives, they know what's going but are reflexive in not speaking about it to avoid future abuse.
At some point, the parties become arrogant in their success, and the cloak comes off. That's where Democrats were leading up to the election of 2016. They thought they could do anything, and the "intelligence community" that was corrupted by the Clintons in the late 1990s had continued to step up their own spy infrastructure throughout the Bush years, ready to serve Obama liberals.

What was the negative spin the media put on the subject?
They mainly were just trying to pin down what Trumps positions were. Why doesn’t he release the memo? She responded he is in favor of full transparency. At least they are asking about it instead of their usual game of ignoring as it didn’t happen. One reporter even asked why he didn’t just fire Mueller.
Thanks. I should, but I rarely read the news conference reports. The reporters just get to me.
