Excellent point - with Flake and some others siding with Dems, we still wouldn’t have the votes.
And this is playing MUCH BETTER than if the Republicans simply muscled-through a budget. We’re letting the Democrats reveal themselves on Amnesty - I suspect that a LOT of Americans are now finding out just who the Dems are and what their priorities are, as they are normally really good at hiding it.

But, if the rules were changed to only require majority vote, there may be a few dhimmicraps ready to vote ‘yes’, especially if they may have a tough reelection fight upcoming. They would have a better argument with constituents if they could say they did not vote against security and children’s health insurance.

I think there were four GOP that didn’t vote for it but five Dems that did. That should have been enough with a majority vote shouldn’t it?
This would be a great opportunity to get Doug Jones (D-AL) on record to see if he supports the Schumer/Pelosi policy of putting the interests of illegal alien invaders over the interests of his fellow Alabamans.
