I think he actually did have 50, because several Democrats voted for it.
My deep rooted cynicism wants to see how many of those Ds would REMAIN a ‘yes’ if the rules were changed with the ‘Nuclear Option’ in place.
As it is now, those that NOW say yes can go home and say they ‘stood up to the party’, but the real test is how many stay on the R side should a change occur???
