There is a vast amount of wisdom & knowledge here at Free Republic. I am not joking, very serious. I have learned more here about civics than I ever did in public school. Just think about what younger folks are NOT being taught! I have expanded to other social websites as the twits have pegged me as a Russian bot. Not the chans or Reddit-they’d technologically eat me alive. What I have found is there is a lot of youthful energy and drive for free speech, but not a lot of word communication (or maybe I have been so oppressed by the twits & FB) People seem to communicate more with pictured memes, news article posts or brief phasing. I am nothing special, but I string a couple of sentences together and I get more “thumbs up” and users following me. 🤔 Not really sure which it is or a combo of both. Maybe we are getting the culture back? The energy or thirst for freedom is real. Some of the free speech not so appealing. But cross pollination is good.

Sites like 4chan and 8chan are the inevitable result of true freedom of speech. Consequently, many of the posts there are offensive because some people have views that are offensive, and some posts there are said to be illegal (not that I go looking for proof of that).

Mr. Robinson has every right to restrict linking from his site to certain other sites that he has problems with. That’s easy enough to accept, and there is nothing to prevent individuals from going there on their own if that’s their choice.

That said, I don’t see any reason to ban reposting of Q’s 8chan posts (without links) or discussion of those posts at FR.

If Jim doesn’t agree, I’m sure he will weigh in on this matter.
