Perhaps Senator Dole wasn't a great Presidential candidate, but he was an honorable man who didn't betray his country. He was seriously injured while rescuing a wounded soldier.

Keep in mind that McCain graduated LAST in his class at Annapolis. Never climbed much higher, IMO.
Trump is not attacking “the press.” He’s attacking the Democrats. About time McCain learned the difference.
When freedom of the press was enshrined as an enumerated liberty, the press was a machine.
The press was never intended to be a special class of people. We ALL have freedom of the press.
It is the job of Congress “To promote the progress of science and useful arts, by securing for limited times to authors and inventors the exclusive right to their respective writings and discoveries.” This allows authors and inventors to make money for their work.
But note the word “limited.” The modern media has an unlimited monopoly which controls the access of the public to information. It no longer needs copyright protection, at least not the level that it has today.
Time to break up the media monopoly.

Trump is not attacking the "free" press. He is attacking the "somebody-is paying-us-to-attack-you" press.
There is no such thing as this fantasy "free press" McLame refers to.
It's been bought and paid for long ago and all we're getting now is propaganda for the democRATS and the liberals.
"Free speech" is no longer free when you are threatened and attacked at universities nowadays for voicing your opinions.
The only thing free in this society anymore, is the political fantasies of the Left to have free college, free housing, free food, free phones, everything they can think of to give away at the US taxpayer expense. "It's free because our Uncle Sam is paying for it."
So McLame, President Trump doesn't need your advice. Go back to doing to dying with dignity. Please exit the stage.
