I’ve run 1024 since 1992. 800 might be reasonable limit based on today’s tiny pocket screens.

I'm running 1280x960 as I type this. That image as posted is 1600 x 1200.

IMHO, width of a posted image should not exceed 800. Having to horizontally or vertically scroll a posted image ruins the images's effect.

I shoulda said that I started out at 1024. That ran for quite a while, then 1600 and now 1920.

I think the tablet runs 1280x800, so width =”800” seems more than fair.

Peeps should hold their smart phone sideways. Just sayin’.

Those are called "American Mags" -- they were about the only design of custom wheel available in that era. You didn't find custom wheels at every Tom Dick & Harry tire store like you do today. You usually found "Rally Wheels" on Chevy sport cars which were stamped steel with a slot and a small hub cap:

CAD and CNC machining has made it so easy to turn out a gazillion style of wheels these days.

Yep. Quite familiar with them...one of my favorites. IMHO, they’re still one of the sharpest-looking wheels out there. I’ve considered a similar set for my ‘67 Charger but I got the original caps with the chrome spinners in the center that look good on her.

Looks like she can do good work though.

Upon review, I count three lost wheel covers (those small things are hubcaps, not to be confused with bearing caps...)

LOL

“Hangin 9+”

I saw that and concluded that it was no reason to reject the pic, which is easily a 9.

More than one was used to film the scenes. Best chase scene in a movie. Fun to drive down the hills in the scene.

A map of the timeline of the chase would be interesting to have published.

Upon furthur [sic] review, it looks like the square tubes extend across to the Left Side. There might be some on the Challenger too.
