Actress and liberal activist Shailene Woodley took to Instagram on Tuesday to declare that this year’s Golden Globes and the Time’s Up anti-sexual harassment movement are “ushering in sacred matriarchy.”

Interesting notion though I would counter it by saying the MEN who actually run studios would be less likely to hire women for fear that they be accused of sexual harassment or be unable to fire them.

I’ve been following the stories and a number of people, including women are noticing that it appears that the movement is imploding in on itself. It started with the anonymous woman complaining about her “bad date” with a comedian as though it was abuse. None are buying it.
i.e. the movement is pulling back to sanity.
When every man is an abuser, no man is an abuser.

They just got caught not caring about sexual harassment. If they hadn’t been caught not caring they wouldn’t need to pretend that they care now and all would be right with their world.

MEN who run “anything” will stop hiring women. They do not always get good work value from them, sometimes have to deal with women health and maternal issues, and could get clobbered with a lawsuit if they are too nice or too mean to the girl. Depending on how she feels that day.
Way too much paperwork and time away from their business.
Although I am sure that women owned businesses will take up the slack and hire more women to ease the problem.
She obviously an idiot, but idiots like her are useful to show the true intent of feminism: not equality, but a female-dominated society.
This is why so many young men are foregoing women altogether, except as casual sex partners, via some random hookup computer app.
Anything else is asking for trouble (not to discount the risk of casual sex).

When you see people question the me-too’ing of the average Joe, then you will have something.

Before one can be considered a matriarch isn’t the element of motherhood essential? The fact that most of these women promote and uphold abortion wouldn’t that be at cross purposes with matriarchy? I think they are trying to come up with some new phraseology rather than calling themselves feminists.
She is a talented actress, an attractive woman, and nuttier than a Planter’s factory.
