My basic argument is that nothing has changed as far as I can see. Trump did some trolling and now I see a lot of panic over nothing. Here is what Trump tweeted out AFTER yesterday’s meeting:
“Thanks to all of the Republican and Democratic lawmakers for today’s very productive meeting on immigration reform. There was strong agreement to negotiate a bill that deals with border security, chain migration, lottery and DACA.”
Here is a tweet from this afternoon:
“The United States needs the security of the Wall on the Southern Border, which must be part of any DACA approval. The safety and security of our country is #1!”
How is what he said after the meeting any different from what he was saying before the meeting? Can you show anything President Trump has actually said or tweeted that shows his position has changed? I do not think you can. People can panic all they want but I have no plans to worry myself into a tizzy over nothing. BTW, I think Ann Coulter is nuttier than a squirrel turd most of the time but that does not have a lot to do with my view on this or anything else.
One could get whiplash from following AC’s moods of the week. As a Canadian, with an Obama clone running our country, it is abhorrent that Trump supporters could be so fair-weather’ish.
I stopped even looking at Drudge in the last 6 months and stopped paying attention to AC since Mittens running.
My goodness, you finally got someone who speaks to ordinary citizens and he doesn’t do everything you want 100 per cent and it is time to throw in the towel???? It’s time for me to get off the internets because it is making me crazy.
Weep for Canada and the USA. Thank goodness I am old. I only have to suffer this insanity for a defined number of years. That is all I have to say.

It is what he said during the meeting that has people on edge.
I think he was gaslighting the Democrats, but using terms like “far-right” and “bill of love” and saying his positions are going to be whatever the people in the room decide and that he’d sign anything they send him caused some understandable concern from his supporters.
