Really appreciate your replies . IF I don’t have a recent restore point , how do I go about uninstalling updates in your list . I’m a computer dummy working with a made for Japan computer with a wife who knows about as much as I do about computers - and that isn’t much . Cheers !

This should work for Windows 7. As I said, I don't think you need to block future update installation, but I could be wrong.
