treating symptoms—correct. i wonder when they will ever find a definitive cure for cancer of any sort: one that doesn’t kill you first before the cancer does, or the treatment brings on another form of cancer or terminal illness that takes you away? it seems that chemo and radiation do so much damage to healthy tissue, that it is a miracle anyone survives those treatments. so many go into remission and then some sort of cancer comes roaring back to finish them off.
