The only thing required to get an A+ rating from the BBB is to pay dues.

Who in their right mind would spend $2,000 on a pair of tennis shoes?
Oh, wait. Never mind. I answered my own question.

Ludicrous. That said, what's the most FReepers have spent on dress shoes?
To: Uversabound
I love the name Gemma, sounds very British.

It’ll be interesting to watch the trainwreck when this idiot runs through his boys’ money.

$180 for dress shoes.
The most expensive footwear I have ever purchased was purpose-built motorcycle roadracing boots. Back when I was racing the ones I used ran upwards of $350 - although they are considerably more now.

Thank you
It is very British but not where I got it.
My Grandmother’s name, she and My Dad were in Venice during WWII and suffered greatly.
I used to dislike my name. I so wanted to be Ann, Sue, Betty.....LOL
Now glad to be different, Freeper. HA!

“$180 for dress shoes.”
$250 a pair for two pair of Lucchese boots in 1989. Still enjoy wearing them now in these ‘cool’ Florida winters ...
To: WayneS
Makes sense. I buy online and at the outlets, and if you hit it right you can find $500 hand made in Italy dress shoes for $150-$200. Still more than I like to pay for shoes, but if they're high quality and last it's worth it.
To: C19fan
People stupid enough to support this jackass
and pay 500-1200$ for his shoes are unlikely to be dissuaded by logic and truth no matter how presented...
It’s a cultural/cult iconic thing...

Gemma is not that odd. My old employer published a book on the life of St. Gemma Galgani.
