Prayers joined with yours. My granddaughter and her friend loved to roast marshmallows over an electric burner on my stove and make s'mores aftr school (age 8 and over). I was always home but not in kitchen. I never imagined they could get hurt but it's possible.

Also pray the girl doesn't suffer, would be unimaginable pain over most of her body.

I was more concerned they could hurt themselves with the forks or possibly touch the burner, had 2 longish ones; table forks wouldn't be very safe.

I'd often make one or two for myself for a treat ;-). If I had grahams and Hershey's milk chocolate. And of course nothing but Kraft original marshmallows.

Many child tragedies are preventable. Amazing society cannot teach children comprehensive safety, instead of just yelling at them.
