They're panicking because people may associate strong economic performance with his policies.

I think they are going to try some really nasty stuff.

The smarter ones are remembering what happened when Reaganomics began to really kick in, which happened in the third year of his presidency.

At the end of his first year, there were only fairly subtle indications of what was coming, really only obvious in hindsight.

In PDJT's case, hindsight is foresight.

There’s nothing like a Democrat being a Democrat; he has absolute confidence in the power of government.

Many of the still sane rats are remembering what happened in Reagan’s fourth year, a 49 state landslide.

They recall what got one of their heroes elected (1992): “It’s the economy, Stupid.”

If the economy continues to rise through next year and on to 2020, it is going to be more difficult for Dems to get elected.

Also, 80% of employees getting a larger paycheck due to less taxes being withheld is not going to help them either.

I think it’s creepy because it seems to be a “dog whistle” used to summon violent creeps or violent creep handlers to assassinate the president “in self-defense.” In other words, I think the left is trying to panic or stampede Trump’s detractors into “taking matters into their own hands” for the “good of the republic.” They keep saying they are frightened and if they succeed in frightening the right people, or creating a pretense of fear in which “desperate times call for desperate measures, it means they are planning something. I also think that revelations about Hillary and others at the top of the leftist dung heap are going to come out SOON (likely this month) and they are still working on their wish to remove Trump based on his mental fitness SOON.

That’s where Reagan’s famous “Stay the course” line came from. They had to slog through a very tough recession to get to the promised land. Volcker’s policies were stiff medicine. It took some time for the fever to break.

I'm suppose to take these people serious?

Is there anyone who does not see through this fake BS?

“Trump’s detractors into “taking matters into their own hands” for the “good of the republic.””

You meant “good of the democracy” ... it almost seems like after the USSR fell apart, liberals have tried to make “Republic” a bad word and always, and I mean ALWAYS refer to the USA as a “Democracy”. When called out on referring to the USA as a Democracy, they seem to want to call you racist or something along those lines :-).

“.. creating a pretense of fear ... revelations about Hillary and others “

Did you see the clip of Bill Clinton pulling a scarier version of “Trump is Hitler” on one of those liberal late night talk shows? I think it was Kimmel. I’m paraphrasing, but he seemed to imply that the USA was heading “that way” under Trump’s leadership ... he said something along the lines of him taking political prisoners since he continues to fight with Hillary after the election? I believe another Democratic bigwig made very similar remarks.

This wasn’t your typical “Trump is Hitler” blather ... this was crap getting a bit more specific and very similar to what you stated in your post.

America could become oil king of the world in 2018

by Matt Egan @MattEganCNN January 3, 2018: 11:33 AM ET

The United States is poised to ramp up crude oil production by 10% in 2018 to about 11 million barrels per day, according to research firm Rystad Energy.

Surging shale oil output should allow the United States to dethrone Russia and Saudi Arabia as the planet's leading crude oil producer, Rystad predicted in a recent report. The U.S. hasn't been the global leader, nor ahead of both Russia and Saudi Arabia, since 1975. Trump Energy Policy...more WIN

I have a small 401 k. Built up 67000 over about 10 years. 15000 of that just since trumps election. Checked it today and was awestruck. In the last 4 days it made 1200 bucks. After 7 more years of trump I can likely retire well.

There is nothing fake about the hatred “these people” have for Trump.

There is not much fake about their viewers hatred for Trump.

There is nothing fake about their over the top incitement of someone, anyone who will hear them, to harm Trump either politically or literally.

“Did you see the clip of Bill Clinton pulling a scarier version of “Trump is Hitler” on one of those liberal late night talk shows? “

I looked it up ... it was on Conan. Clinton was talking about dictators ... Conan asked if he was talking about abroad or at home. Clinton said nothing and O’Brien said “your silence speaks loudly” or something like that ...

These people are frigging sickening.

Not driving, revealing.

Just as the hatred we see is not something new, just something coming to light.

That’s where Reagan’s famous “Stay the course” line came from.

Yes! I forgot that!

That's another thing that was so wonderful about Reagan and his political team. They actually seemed to know what they were doing! The got the upper hand early over Mon-dull, and they kept him on the defensive throughout the campaign.

Reagan's races were the first time I'd ever seen a Republican presidential campaign run by people who actually appeared to know what they were doing (I began to "come of age" politically after Watergate, with Ford and his WIN buttons).

Reagan's campaigns were very well run, and the Democrats didn't know how to respond. Reagan had lived a pretty clean life, and there was no dirt that would really stick to him.

They manufactured dirt (in the Iran-Contra "scandal") but unfortunately for them, that was after he was in his second term.

You know, hindsight may reveal that Trump is getting his "scandal" out of the way at the beginning of his first term. If he plays it right, he may be able to ride the "he's already been inoculated" phenomenon throughout the remainder of his eight years.

I can dream, right?

My neighbor for one. He blocked me from texting him, and then unblocked me to text me again about Trump. He thinks that he is the anti Christ. I told him that I didn’t blame him for his thoughts since he trusts the MSM, which is just like Pravda. Wow, that really upset him. It is really hard for lefties brought up trusting their Walter Cronkite type anchormen to think that they aren’t the authorities of what is news.

The good thing is that he has come a long way in believing in Jesus. Please pray for him. I felt it was time to take up rocks and stones of “liberalism” out of his soul’s field. I know it is hard on him, but I felt it needs to be done. LORD bless him!
