Totally bogus story. I was a member of the Senior Executive Service. To claim that they are Obama holdovers is like saying that all the military’s flag officers are holdovers.

I’m glad you chimed in. I’ve known about ESE. It’s no secret. A close friend was offered a position at that level. She stayed at the 15 tho because (1 of several reasons) at the level you were at, she said they could move her around and she liked where she was.
So, tell me - are they referring to a specific group within or is this article referring to all ESE. (If the latter, I agree with you and call BS). If it’s a specific group within, how are they identified?
