CORDOVA, Tenn. -- A Waffle House employee in Tennessee was attacked by several customers over a thermostat, according to WMC.
The brawl happened at a Waffle House in Cordova Tuesday afternoon when two adults and a teen walked into the restaurant and asked that the temperature is turned down. When the 21-year-old worker said she would tell her manager, one of the women didn't like the answer and punched her.

Individual employees should be quietly packing. Don’t tell management. What’s the boss gonna do to defend you? Will he step forward and take physical abuse on your behalf? Usually he’s never there. So what if you get fired? Those jobs don’t pay that much and management is afraid of a lawsuit.

This tells me that there WAS no answer that "one of the women" would have liked. Cashiers and cooks do NOT have control of the thermostat in restaurants. This thug was spoiling for a fight and was going to attack that cashier no matter her reply.
No one keeps a shot gun under the counter any more. Sad, America!
I hope the attackers were arrested and punished.
