One follower responded to Wentz’s tweet saying in part, “As a friend I wanted to quickly highlight that a man in your influential position might cause offence (sic) through the posting of your first picture. I support its sentiment however the context and content of the pic could offend.”
Wentz then shared that user’s tweet and included his response to the user’s claim the photo could be offensive.
“Appreciate that, but offensive and controversial? Two of the main things I tweet about are Jesus and hunting. That’s what I’m passionate about and that won’t ever change! When you love something, you talk about it! Stay convicted about it and don’t worry what others think!” Wentz wrote.

My son shot his first deer a decade ago. He sent a picture to my brother. Unfortunately my brother decided to put it on his Facebook page. I got him on the phone and made him take it down immediately.

Those who would take offense at killing a few geese have never been in a Louisiana rice field as the sun comes up, watching a thousand geese coming in for breakfast. Awesome. Makes me miss those days………...

Those damn geese are a dime a dozen now.
I think we have geese year-round (chasing away the mallards that USED to be ubiquitous) because of those damn “sediment ponds” set up EVERYWHERE when new houses are built.
Housing explosion -> sediment ponds -> Canada geese -> no mallards
Not to mention increase in mosquitoes.

We used to have a Golden and a Cockatiel. One day the Bird flew across the room. The Golden caught it in her mouth and brought it to me unharmed
