The first line is a flat-out lie: If he were indeed secure in who he is, he wouldn’t be dressing like a girl. Other people’s words do affect (threaten, hurt) him, or he wouldn’t feel a need to address them. His problem (or his mother’s problem) is that he knows the truth ... and the truth is contrary to his (or his mother’s) perverse predilections.

I had a very good friend in about 6th-8th grade, who moved away, and we were never in contact after that. A few years ago, I was able to track him down easily, due to his family had some local (positive) notoriety. I found that he has a son, around age 30, who is very publicly into this drag queen scene stuff.
It makes me sad for my friend. It does make you wonder how things get so crossed up for anyone.
They are all lies. I predict a short life for this boy.
At least it gives us a list of potential mental problem folks.

Somehow, I think I saw a bit on TV about this kid being made up in drag and visited by and encouraged in his pursuit by an adult drag queen. Pretty bizarre. Think I was just too shocked to change the channel right away.
